Here I share my experiences with setting up a GNU/Linux-box. I am now using a combination of Gentoo Linux and OpenBSD. A lot of this material was written for Red Hat Linux (because this was the distribution that I used before Gentoo) but normally the ideas and configs should be portable to other distribution.
